The Hotspot

A nightclub in Renton owned by Tony Benett. The club heavily emphasises enhancing your experience via the Matrix through the extensive use of AROs for those who prefer to let loose in the flesh world as well as offering a safe place to unwind in VR for those inclined to a more cerebral celebration. Some few people have taken this to mean that BTLs are welcomed, but they quickly find themselves shown the door, often into an officer's waiting hands.

Unbeknownst to many of the patrons, the club is one of the few places that technomancers physically meet up in Seattle. Many of the clients in the VR rooms are actually technomancers who have allowed their brains to relax into the Matrix fully.

Due to the desire to protect customers incapacitated by VR as well as the privacy of the often society-shunned technomancers, Tony tends to have a more than average security detail on any given night. In a region of Seattle populated mostly by the middle-low classes, this extra bit of safety has resulted in a steady and consistently larger-than-similar-nightclub's clientele.
