General Apperance

Born in Seattle, moved to the Detroit area in early teens and recently moved back. She was middle class till her parents passed away and then lived in poverty for the remainder of her childhood/ young adulthood

Family She had loving parents and a fairly average childhood. Her parents worked for Saeder-Krupp. They worked directly with some of the top executives in the company. When Pixel was about 13 her parents stole some money from the wrong people within the company to try and help pay back some of an aunt’s debt. They haven’t been seen since. After that she spent a couple years on the streets, working odd jobs and dodging the police before she met Butch. She was stealing a car at the time and Butch thought she had talent and spunk. He moved her to a small town outside of Detroit where she worked as a mechanic at the shop. The other mechanics became like her family. Unfortunately the shop came into new management around a year ago and was threatening its employees and just being a generally shitty place to work. One night while the new boss was in but everyone else was out Pixel blew the place up with her boss inside. No one really suspects her but she has a bit of a fear that her abrupt disappearance after would lead the bosses family (low level crime family) to come after her.

Education While working in the chop shop she got her GED. People would make fun of her for studying while working on cars.

Past Work Experience Pixel worked in a chop shop from when she was 15 till she was 30.

Political/Religious Beliefs She has problems with authority and kind of hates all the political or religious people she has ever met. She generally has no interest in that saying she prefers to focus her energy on things she can change.

Moral Code Due to her upbringing she has a problem with authority but a soft spot for innocent/helpless people. Her problems with authority lead her to have near sociopathic tendencies towards corporations and people who “boss her around”. However a kitten on the street will be protected at all costs. She sees her drones as helpless pets and has names for them all, for example her eye drone is named Penelope. She fancies herself a Robin Hood type figure.

Goals Pixel would like to open her own chop shop. She needs to save up enough money to afford it. She has never been very good at saving money though so this dream is a long way off.

Why a Shadowrunner? She needs money and she is scared the incident at the chop shop would have the cops on her tail so she figures this is a good way to lay low and make some money.

Personality She is stubborn and sarcastic. She prefers to be the leader in most situations but is willing to let someone else be in charge of she thinks they are competent enough. She likes to be busy and doesn't enjoy sitting around doing nothing.

Special Qualities Cars and drones are pretty much all she cares about. She used to know how to juggle wrenches but it's been awhile.

Things She Can't Do Pixel has no patience for people who ignore her. She will interrupt and make a scene of she feels that people are not taking her opinion into account.

Name Pixel’s real name is Gretchen Grundler. She went by Sarah for awhile when she was in Michigan While working for the chop shop she was often called “Grease Stain” an insult at first that gradually turned into a term of endearment. She picked Pixel when she came back to Seattle. She doesn’t feel particularly attached to names and will respond to whatever people call her.
